Undergoing an impressive renovation of facilities over the past decade, the Harford County Airport is “open for business.” Whether you want to learn to fly, store your aircraft, or run an aviation specific business on-site – we have state of the art facilities that are second to none in the state.

We are located conveniently between Aberdeen and Bel Air in Harford County, Maryland at the top of the scenic Chesapeake Bay. Our location puts us approximately 33 miles from Baltimore, 50 miles from Washington DC, 40 miles from Wilmington, and 60 miles from Philadelphia.

Harford County Airport is northeastern Maryland’s hub for all things aviation. We exist to support the aviation needs of our community, as well as perpetuate an environment for aviation-specific businesses to thrive.

Our Airport

Harford County Airport is a public airport that has undergone significant renovations and upgrades in the past ten years.  These upgrades include the elimination of the grass/turf runways and expanded the current paved runway to 3500 feet. State of the art hangars housing on-site businesses as well as personal aircraft have been built. The airport also has an observation area with a playground that is perfect for our youngest aviators.
